·          Note: not all R22 accidents where officially recorded in the muster industry. It is known that the number of accidents are much higher than the above record

·          Note: aerial survey – it is known that some illegal muster accidents (pilot not licensed/trained  for this type of op) where reported as aerial survey (spotting for cattle)

·          Note: the accident increase as the R22 Beta replaced the Bell 47, AB47 and H269 from 1986

·          Note: the Australian instructional rate has always been much less than the USA due the higher standards of instructor training and supervision
